The official tourist flow to Tatarstan amounted to 4.2 million people by the end of 2023

The Federal State Statistics Service has published updated data on the volume of tourist flow for 2023, according to which the tourist flow to Tatarstan amounted to 4.2 million people by the end of 2023.

Compared to 2022, the tourist flow to the republic increased by 7.6% and reached 4.2 million people. In terms of tourist flow, Tatarstan ranks 6th among other regions of the Russian Federation.

Top 10 leading regions by the end of 2023:

1. Moscow – 20.1 million people,

2. Krasnodar Territory – 18.1 million people,

3. Moscow region – 16.6 million people,

4. St. Petersburg - 11.7 million people,

5. Leningrad region – 8.7 million people,

6. The Republic of Tatarstan – 4.2 million people,

7. Rostov region – 3.4 million people,

8. Tver region – 3.2 million people,

9. Sverdlovsk region – 3.2 million people,

10. The Republic of Crimea – 3.2 million people.
