On the City Day in Kazan against the Kremlin walls there will be held the show “Kazan City Racing”. More than 30 drifters, stunt drivers and motorcycle stunts will give performances to citizens and guests of Kazan. One of the most awaited participants are going to be British record-breakers – stunt driver Terry Grant and motorcycle stunt Lee Bowers. Local pilots Timur Timerzyanov and Taras Shatov will also give performance in the drift show to citizens of Kazan, as well as pilots of the Russian series of closed-circuit races Irek Minnakhmetov, Marat Sharapov and Maxim Simonov will demonstrate their spectacular program.
The famous Russian pilot Maxim Tvardovsky will represent the international drifters’ crew “FailCrew”. Lithuanian pilot Povilas Yankavichus is going to give performance with new class of compact racing cars “Mitjet 2L”. Performances of the motorcycle stunt riders crew “Legend Stunt Team” headed by Marat Kankadze, road-circuit motorcycle racing team “RWT-motorsport” with Sergei Krapukhin, Grigoriy Markov from the team “B.K.E. Stunt Show” are also awaited.
The route “Kazan City Racing” will pass through historical central part of the city, along the Millennium Square. Total distance of the route makes 800 meters. One can get into event on the City Day from side of the Bauman and Tashayak streets, Kremlin quay and from side of the Central stadium. Warmup races will start at 11.00 and main program will start at
From 23rd till 25th of August the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism Sergei Ivanov had a working visit to the Czech Republic. Working meetings with Czech tour operators and negotiations about including of the Republic of Tatarstan in tourist routes made for locals were held within the trip. There was also a visit to the city of Brno of the South-Moravian region where the meeting with hetman of the region Mikhail Hasek and representatives of the Centre for tourism development, Brno international airport and local tour operators was held. Issues of mutual promotion of tourist resources of two regions including organization of advertising and informational tours for tour operators and journalists, participation in regional specialized exhibitions and leading advertising campaigns in mass media were discussed.
