A solemn meeting with famous bicycle traveler Wolfgang Fascing took place on August 10
Wolfgang Fascing has visited Kazan as part of his unique bike tour Vladivostok-Moscow-St. Petersbourg. Wolfgang is planning to travel 10,000 km in 24 days. The aim of this project is to promote Russia itself in the West as well as promoting cycling in our country.

National Tourism Award "Route of the Year" has been established
Russian Tourism Award "Route of the Year" was established as an industry award given by the results of the Open All-Russian competition of projects for his achievements in the creation and development of tourist routes
Graffiti festival and photo exhibition will be held in the framework of the photo contest "Our Republic is our pride and love"

Action "Our republic: pride and love" includes  more and more activities. Alongside with existing ones organizers have added a photo exhibition "... with a twist", which will be organized in the framework of the photo contest and the opening of the School of graffiti, as well as the festival of the graffiti. This was announced today by the organizers at a press conference held at the National Agency for Press and Mass Communications.

The first group of schoolchildren arrives on August 8 to Kazan to learn about its history and culture
Kazan was recently included in the list of cultural-educational tours across Russia for schoolchildren. On August 8, a first group with kids from Astrakhan, Orenburg, Nizhniy Novgorod and Tyumen region will arrive to learn about history and culture of our capital.
