On the 8th March at 16:00 p.m. in the Exhibition Hall “Manezh” will be held a concert dedicated to the International Women's Day featuring masterpieces of Russian and foreign music in vocal and instrumental execution by Kazan musicians. In the program are musical compositions of Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Shostakovich and other composers. Visitors of the concert will observe the amazing paintings exhibition of avant-garde artist Edward Zelenin.

In the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism was held a meeting with Nizhniy Novgorod region delegation, being on the visit in the Republic from 1 to 3 March. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Economy, Investments and Entrepreneurship of the State Council of Tatarstan Rafis Burganov, Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov and his deputy Artur Abdrashitov. The aim of Nizhny Novgorod region delegation visit of the Committee was sharing experiences, including in the sphere of attracting tourists.
The Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov took part in demonstration ecology lesson given in Kazan gymnasium #19 as a part of the Republican campaign “Ecological lesson”.
Speaking to schoolchildren Sergei Ivanov stressed that nature conservation depends on everyone and it is important not only be considerate towards the issues of waste treatment, but water resources conservation as well. At the end of the lesson schoolchildren received gifts: notebooks and lively illustration book.
Tatarstan was ranked fourth in the top-10 Russian regions voted the most attractive recreation region in spring of 2017. The ranking was submitted by hotels service system RoomGuru.
In top-10 were also included Moscow Region, Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol Territory, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Irkutsk, Astrakhan and Leningrad regions. The average price of tourist accommodation in Tatarstan is 2800 rubles per day.

The Republic of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Chairman Sergey Ivanov, held a number of meetings in the city of Surgut- Administrative Center of Surgut district of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra and Novy Urengoy, the biggest city in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
The meetings were held in connection with opening of new direct flights "Surgut-Kazan" and “Novy Urengoy – Kazan”. The Republic of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism together with “YUVT AERO” Company and Kazan biggest tour operators and hotels, have developed a new package tour for Surgut and Novy Urengoy residents. The tour includes flights, accommodation and meals. The proposal is valid from the 1st of March till the end of April.
In N. A. Durova Museum-Estate of Elabuga State Museum-Reserve was launched dramatic theatrical program based on the Russian folktale “With a wave of the wand”.
The main characters Emelya and Pike together with Petrushka, Baba Yaga, Winter, Maslenitsa and festival guests sing songs, dance, play and participate in fun contests, burn jackstraw of the Winter and of course, taste aromatic tea with herbs, delicious “tavern” pancakes and sweets.
Performances will be held during the whole week.
