On March 30 at 3 p.m., an opening ceremony of the “Irina Malikov's Designs” Exhibition brought from repository collection of the Orenburg Oblast Art Museum will be staged at the Exhibition Hall of the museum-reserve of Yelabuga. The exposition represents the creative legacy of Irina Nikolaevna Malikova (1933–2010), a celebrated embroiderer. Having been a vibrant and extravagant artist, Irina Malikova had propelled the embroidery technique to a principally new, state-of-the-art level.

On March 21st-23rd, 2018, the 1st All-Russian Festival of Animators and Cultivators of Sanatoriums and Health Resorts "ZdravKultPrivet-2018" was held in Kazan, within the territory of the Krutushka sanatorium. All the guests could become participants of a bright, colorful, fun holiday with a rich and interesting program. Approximately 80 representatives of the sanatorium and resort industry from 27 health resorts (Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Ulyanovsk region, Chuvashia, Crimea, Krasnodar region, Caucasian Mineral Waters) and the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts took part in the Festival.

The arranger of the Festival is the Republican Association "Sanatoriums of Tatarstan" with the assistance of the State Committee of Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism, the National Spa Association (NSA), and the online booking portal "Санатории-России.рф" (Sanatoriums-of-Russia.rf).

On April 12th, 2018, IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "TOUR FACTOR 2018" – "Event Tourism as the Main Factor of Area Development" will be held in Kazan (24 Orenburgskiy Trakt, Training Center of the Federal Antimonopoly Service).

A meeting of the Public Council was held under the auspices of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism. Sergei Ivanov, the chairman of the committee, attended the meeting in question. The agenda included the election of a new chairman and secretary of the Public Council, a strategy for the social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan until 2030, contests for the provision of grants of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society, as well as the implementation of the anti-corruption program of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism for 2015-2020 for the I quarter of 2018.

On March 26th, a new partner of the International Airport "Kazan" – the Georgian airline Georgian Airways – started regular passenger transportation along the Tbilisi-Kazan-Tbilisi route.

The first flight was met in a festive atmosphere. The opening of the route began with a solemn cutting of the ribbon, after which the registration for the flight was announced. Dishes and drinks of Georgian national cuisine were offered to departing passengers and those who were seeing them off to the accompaniment of the national orchestra, and the first arrivals from Georgia were greeted by Georgian dances and memorable gifts.

Today in the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism, a presentation was held regarding the hotel complex "Kul Gali," which opens in the summer of this year in the city of Bolgar. The presentation was conducted by Fadi Sveiden, General Director of JSC All Seasons Hotel Management. He told the participants what a new complex will be like, which rooms and services will be provided to future guests, and about the internal arrangement of the complex. Moreover, Fadi Sveiden listened to the ideas and suggestions from the largest tour operators of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Association of Hotels of Kazan and Tatarstan that attended the presentation.  

Today in the City Tourism and Information Center of Saint Petersburg, a presentation was held regarding the tourism potential of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of subordinate tour operators and travel agencies. The main goal of the event in question is the development of interregional relations and the promotion of domestic tourism. Tatarstan was presented by Aigul Balakhontseva, the head of the Department for the Promotion of Tourist Products. She told about the main tourist attractions of the Republic of Tatarstan, newsworthy events, national cuisine, the possibility of river cruises, as well as the Palaces and Mosques route, which provides the opportunity to see the main sights of Saint Petersburg and Kazan during 7 days.

Sergey Ivanov takes part in the presentation of the "Gastronomic Card of Russia" in the Crocus Expo at the exhibition METRO Expo in Moscow. The First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, who in turn noted that he is very familiar with the cuisine of the region in question, visited the stand from the Republic of Tatarstan with dishes of national cuisine.

The 1st All-Russian Festival of Holiday Hosts and Cultural Event Organizers of Sanatorium-and-Spa Institutions "ZdravKult-Privet-2018" is opened in the Krutushka sanatorium. Among those who took part in the opening are Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan Arthur Abdrashitov, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladislav Vinichenko, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the National Association of Event Tourism Experts Gennady Shatalov, Executive Director of RASKU "Sanatorium of Tatarstan" Yevgeny Terentyevich and others.
