World Tourism Day is celebrated every year on 27 Septmber. This international holiday was established by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization in 1979 in the Spanish city of Torremolinos.
In the Republic of Tatarstan World Tourism Day will be celebrated in many municipalities that will host special events dedicated to it. All activities are aimed at the development of domestic tourism in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The press tour in Zelenodolsky district, which also was attended by tour operators of the Republic, has facilitated an acquaintance with attractive places for tourism of the municipal district.
In the implementation section of the federal target program "Development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation 2011-2018" of the official website of the Federal Tourism Agency there have been placed decrees of the Federal Agency for Tourism of the September 23, 2014 № 327-Pr-14 "On Amendments in the composition of the Commission on the formation of the Federal Tourism Agency of activities aimed at the promotion of the tourism product of the Russian Federation on the international and domestic tourism markets in accordance with the federal target program "Development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation (2011-2018 years)" and the number 328-Pr-14 "On the timing of the work on the formation of activities aimed at the promotion of the tourism product of the Russian Federation on the international and domestic tourism markets in the framework of the federal target program" Development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation (2011-2018 years) "in 2015."
Tour operators will have to make contributions to the association "Turpomosch" on the basis of the annual financial turnover and number of tourists sent on vacation, said the interim head of the Federal Tourism Agency Oleg Safonov, in an interview to "Rossiyskaya Gazeta", commenting on the proposed changes Tourist legislation.
