On October 21at the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergei Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, had a meeting with 13 largest Russian tour operators who receive tourists from China to Russia. The meeting was also attended by tour operators of Tatarstan, who expressed readiness to cooperate with the Chinese market.
On 17-18 October 2014 there was a conference on the creation of a new tourist route "Chistopol - the city of the great Russian literature." The conference included two working sessions. The first session was devoted to the creation of a tourist product based on the existing tourism potential of Chistopol. Victor Zhigachev, head of cruise programs of "Vodohod" , Julia Talanova, General Director of "Travel and Work" Rim Idrisov, head of excursion work of the State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin" have all made their proposals on the development of the tourism potential of the city.
Today there was a working meeting between the Chairman of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan S.E.Ivanov and the Chairman of the Council of Medical Tourism of Turkey Emin Chakmanom, who takes part in the International exhibition "Treatment in Russia and abroad", which is being held in Kazan.
Chistopol is a unique city, which hosted some of the best Soviet writers during World War II. During wartime Chistopol became a safe haven for the Union of Soviet Writers, which included Boris Pasternak, Leonid Leonov, Mikhail Maksimov, one of the authors of the famous song "Blue Scarf", which was sang by Claudia Shulzhenko. There were created dozens of works included in the golden fund of world and Russian literature.
Another group of students in the program of cultural and educational routes, implemented by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation arrives in Kazan for the second time. 143 young tourists from 9 regions of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Pskov, Lipetsk and Yaroslavl, Sverdlovsk, Tambov, Orel region and Kamchatka Krai will visit Kazan, and get acquainted with the sights of the city.
Chairman of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan S.Ivanov, as part of the delegation accompanying President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working visit in Greece Cyclades Islands. The official delegation, which includes representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarsran, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, are in Greece with a visit, which aim is to develop trade and economic relations between Tatarstan and Greece.
The conference program includes speeches of Travel Industry professionals from various regions of Russia. Panel presentations will focus on cooperation in the sphere of culture and tourism; event speakers will share their experiences implementing innovative practices.
The new format for excursions in Kremlin and around the city was launched in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. Draft mobile guides were developed by companies “Telebit” and “DECK” in collaboration with the Mayor’s office. All visitors of Kazan will be able to get acquainted with all free attractions that are found in the walls of the Kremlin, listen to historical facts, legends, and other useful information at any time and without connecting to the internet.
At 12.00 pm on October 9th, 2014 in the agency of mass communications "Tatmedia" will be a press conference dedicated to the creation of the new tourist route "Chistopol-city of the great Russian literature."
On the eve of of school holidays Travel.ru has posted a rating of the most popular cities for traveling with kids. Kazan was drawn up in the top three among top-30 cities. It is reported that the rating takes into account not only the popularity of the city among tourists, but also the cost of stay. The travel budget includes options such as hotel accommodation in 2 * -3 * within 5 kilometers from the city center, lunch in a cafe, a city tour by bus, visiting places of interest for the children and the cost of a souvenir.
