The first Russian cultural-exhibition centre of the Russian Museum opened at the State Museum of fine arts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The work of the center began with the exhibition of the painter Karl Bryullov "the Great Karl" from the collection of the Russian Museum: presents fifty of the artist's works, including "Portrait", "Girl gathering grapes near Naples", sketch for the painting "the Last day of Pompeii" and others. The center is housed in the sandeckiy manor is a unique complex of urban manor beginning of the twentieth century. The center includes an exhibition space in the main building of the complex, information-educational center ("virtual branch") and the center for creative development of children with disabilities. The centre is planned to conduct educational and awareness programmes, seminars, Museum professionals, lectures. It is anticipated that the centre will become a venue for events urban and regional scale.

Today the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Ekaterina Barabanova met with a delegation of the Autonomous territorial unit of Gagauzia (Gagauz Yeri) of the Republic of Moldova headed by Deputy Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia, Olesya Tanasoglo. The visit took place within the framework of the Days of Gagauz culture, which take place in Kazan from 15 to 17 March.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy of people's Assembly of Gagauzia Roman Tyutin, head of the Main Directorate of culture and tourism of Gagauzia Vasilisa Petrovich, Chairman of the Ceadir-Lunga district of Gagauzia Valentin Kara and the mayor (mayor) of the town ceadîr-Lunga Anatoly Topal.

The guests got acquainted with tourist opportunities of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Committee of RT on tourism. As they exchanged experiences on how to attract tourists to the region. The meeting participants stressed that the visit is further strengthening the cooperation and partnership of Gagauzia and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Yesterday on the island of Sviyazhsk fun in a big way, spent the winter and met a long-awaited spring! According to official data on the celebration with the islanders managed to walk another 7,000 people from Kazan and other Tatarstan cities.
