The events of the two world wars will be reconstructed at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan!

Participants of military-historical movement of Tatarstan and other regions of the Russian Federation will reconstruct battles of the two world wars on the 5th and 6th of August, 2017!

The interregional military-historical festival "East-West: Russian Patriotic war", being organized by the club “Vityaz”, which is renowned and respected among re-enactors (conducted by V.V.Khabarov), will be held in Kazan for the second time. The festival will present the work of the Tatarstan branch of the military historical society on implementation of the program of Patriotic education brightly and easily.

More than 150 people in the costumes of their respective eras will help those who come these days to the Museum, to feel themselves in the remote heroic past: noble balls and dances at the club, photo studio and an army bivouac will be moved to our days. And, of course, there are the scenes of former battles of the great war there.

The Program of the 5th of August will be devoted to the epoch of the Patriotic war of 1812. Everyone will be able to see the soldiers' bivouac, where scenes of camp life of the early XIX century will be demonstrated; to learn about the traditions of duels. A ball and a master class in ballroom dancing and entertainment; a concert of songs and ballads, show of costume reconstruction costumes will take place in the Museum building. The main event will be the reconstruction of battle episodes of the Napoleonic wars epoch.

The Program of the 6th of August will be devoted to the great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The Brass band creates the atmosphere of the pre-war forties. A dance group will take everybody, who comes to the Museum, in the time of youth of our grandfathers and grandmothers. A fashion show with demonstration of costumes from the forties and stylish photo studio, concert of wartime songs and a master class in bayonet fighting – all of them will help to recreate the spirit of the epoch.

The culmination of the program is a reconstruction of battle episodes, which will be presented by members of military-historical clubs, dressed in exact replicas of the uniforms and equipment of various branch of troops of the Red army and the Wehrmacht.

Exhibitions devoted to the patriotic wars of Russia: "The storm of the twelfth year", "The Great Unknown war" will be opened in the Museum halls.

The tourist potential of Yakutia was presented at the State Committee.

A zoom presentation of the tourism potential of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to representatives of the tourism industry of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today at the State Committee. Aigul Balakhontseva, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Ramil Miftakhov, President of the Association of Travel Agencies of the Republic of Tatarstan and Natalya Nikitina, Head of the Department for the Development of Interregional Relations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan were present at the meeting. The Republic of Sakha was represented by Tamara Solovieva, Head of the Tourism Industry Department of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Sakha, Natalia Tyukavkina, General Director of the Agency for Development of Tourism of Territorial Marketing, Ramil Zakirov, Representative of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the Republic of Tatarstan and others.

The tourism development strategy and trends in the development of ecotourism in Tatarstan were discussed in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today, in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, a round table was held on the topic “Development of ecological, rural and industrial tourism in the Republic of Tatarstan”. In 2020, the tourist flow in Tatarstan amounted to 1.9 million people, which is 47% lower than a year earlier. It is planned to restore the tourist flow to pre-crisis levels in the region thanks to large blocks of events. Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about them at a round table in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. “The tourism sector in 2020 showed the largest decline. In 2020, the flow of tourists in Tatarstan amounted to 1.9 million people, which is 47% lower than a year earlier. The volume of the tourism sector last year amounted to about 19 billion rubles, which is 40% lower than a year earlier. We saw new niches and opportunities. We continued to work on priority areas for the development of the tourism sector, which are reflected in the strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030 and the strategy for the development of tourism until 2021 and for the planning period until 2030,” he said.

On March 16-20, ANO “Assembly of Tourist Volunteers of the Republic of Tatarstan” together with the State Committee for Tourism will conduct a specialized educational session for students studying at the universities of Tatarstan at the faculties of tourism, service and hotel business. The best experts in the field of tourism and hospitality of the Republic of Tatarstan will deliver their lectures and conduct creative classes. The shift will help to grow professionally in the tourism industry and provide additional materials for research work. Participation in the shift is free. Students from 18 to 24 years old are invited to participate.
