Аналитическое агентство ТурСтат выявило самые лучшие осенние гастрономические фестивали и «вкусные» праздники в России, популярные у туристов в сентябре 2017 года. Гастрофестиваль в Республике Татарстан вошел в первую пятерку популярных гастрономических событий в России в начале осени. Фестивали «О, да! Еда!» (Абрау-Дюрсо, Краснодарский край), «Калакунда» (Петрозаводск, Карелия), «МедовухаFest» (Суздаль, Владимирская область), «Свияжская уха — 2017» (Свияжск, Татарстан), «День Арбуза» (Астрахань), Фестиваль Мичуринского яблока (Мичуринск, Тамбовская область), «У Пожарского в Торжске…» (Торжок, Тверская область), «Подворье» (Сумароково, Московская область), «Картошкины именины» (Ивановка, Тамбовская область) и «Яблочный край, ягодный рай» (Троекурово, Липецкая область) входят в первую десятку гастрономических событий, популярных в начале осени. Рейтинг гастрофестивалей составлен на основе их популярности. В рейтинг не вошли Москва и Санкт-Петербург. По данным ТурСтат, гастрономический тур на осенний гастрофестиваль в России обойдется от 500 до 1,5 тысяч рублей. Гастрономический фестиваль «Свияжская уха - 2017» пройдет 9 сентября 2017 года на территории музея-заповедника «Остров-град Свияжск» в с. Свияжск Зеленодольского района Республики Татарстан. Рыбы в гербе Свияжска символизировали рыбную ловлю как основное занятие жителей города.

Festival of medieval battle “the Great Bolgar” was held for the fourth time in the Bolgar State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve on August 12-13, 2017. This year the festival acquired international status!

The festival was visited by 47,000 viewers. As a comparison, last year the festival was visited by around 38,000 guests.

European Grand Prix for historical medieval battle in the 5x5 format that was held for the first time gained a great interest. The best clubs, many of which are the prize-winners and winners of the World Championship-2017 “Battle of the Nations” took part in the battle. The Russian Club “Bern” was the winner.

Kazan LIVE-2017, an International Festival of Contemporary Culture will take place in Kazan on August 20. Over the years of its existence, the Kremlin LIVE festival that was well-liked among many Kazan residents, has grown, firmed up and acquired many devoted viewers, the number of which had been growing every year until it reached the mark of 40 thousand people. Eventually the organisers expanded its boundaries and made its main locations more accessible for its guests and viewers. The festival goes outside the limits of the cosy old Kazan Kremlin, which fact was reflected in its new name. This year it will be held in the big square in front of the Palace of Farmers.

Opening of the exhibition “Sviyaga – a running water” will take place on August 11 at the Exhibition hall of the Museum of Sviyazhsk history, informs the press-service of the Museum.

The exhibition represents the history of the river Sviyaga and its embankments from ancient times till the XX century. The Isle – city Sviyazhsk and the most significant villages and settlements located on the river and its tributaries are in the center of attention. Each of them has its own ties with Sviyaga, its history and legends, landscapes and places of attraction.

Sviyaga, which gave its name to the city of Sviyazhsk, is a right tributary of the river Volga. It is a small river in the middle Volga region and flows across the territory of Tatarstan along over 160 km.

Today the Chairman of the State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov held presentation in the “Grand Hotel Kazan” of tourist opportunities of the Republic of Tatarstan for the participants of a large advertizing and information tour. He told about large tourist centers: Kazan, Great Bolgar, Sviyazhsk, Yelabuga, Chistopol, presented the largest events to be held during the year and underlined a high level of security in Tatarstan.

The participants of the International Festival of Medieval Battle “Great Bolgar” started arriving in the Republic of Tatarstan. Today two teams: the club “Prague Trolls” (Czech Republic) and the club “Knyaz” (Ukraine) made a tour of the Kazan Kremlin and met the local media. They demonstrated their costumes for battle and a few fighting techniques. It is notable that the club “Knyaz” became a winner of the World Championship in medieval battle as part of the Ukrainian combined team. 

Let us recall that the International Festival of Medieval Battle “Great Bolgar” will take place on August 12 and 13.

The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism arranged a meeting attended by the Committee Deputy Artur Abdrashitov and the RUSWY project participants. The Tatarstan tourist potential presentation was on the agenda, as well as the volunteers’ movement, eco tourism, the experience of large international events organization and other issues. The guests had opportunity to ask questions of their interest. The tourist opportunities of Japan and Jordan were also presented at the meeting.

The Museum-reserve “Kazan Kremlin” invites for participation in the breathtaking event on the 25th and 26th of August. It will be a parade of wind orchestras organized within the scope of the VI International Festival “Fanfares of Kazan”. All who come during these days to the Kazan Kremlin will witness grand marches, virtuoso defile and awesome performance of the orchestra combined of 18 ensembles performing Russian and Tatarstan hymns and pieces of Tatar composers.

The entrance is free for all guests of the Festival!

Kazan Kremlin has joined the top ten list of Russian “must see” castles. Information taken from the British on-line newspaper heritagedaily.com. 

“Russia is a home for many best beautiful castles. These masterpieces of architecture are represented from their beautiful side”,- reports the article.  Kazan Kremlin occupies the eighth line in the rating. The “must see” list also includes the Mikhailovsky palace, Moscow and Suzdal Kremlin and the Izborskaya castle.

The project “Gastronomic map of Russia” has started on the 5th of August   in Kazan. It is being realized with the support of the Federal Agency on Tourism and the RT Ministry of Agriculture. The aim of the project – is the development of gastronomy tourism and promotion of dishes from national cuisine of the country regions.

 Presentation of the dishes from the Tatar national cuisine has taken place within the scope of the project in the recreation center “Tugan avylym” (Native village) participated by Sergey Ivanov, the Chairman of the State Committee of Tatarstan on tourism.
