A zoom presentation of the tourism potential of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to representatives of the tourism industry of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today at the State Committee. Aigul Balakhontseva, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Ramil Miftakhov, President of the Association of Travel Agencies of the Republic of Tatarstan and Natalya Nikitina, Head of the Department for the Development of Interregional Relations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan were present at the meeting.

The Republic of Sakha was represented by Tamara Solovieva, Head of the Tourism Industry Department of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Sakha, Natalia Tyukavkina, General Director of the Agency for Development of Tourism of Territorial Marketing, Ramil Zakirov, Representative of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the Republic of Tatarstan and others.

Today, in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, a round table was held on the topic “Development of ecological, rural and industrial tourism in the Republic of Tatarstan”.

In 2020, the tourist flow in Tatarstan amounted to 1.9 million people, which is 47% lower than a year earlier. It is planned to restore the tourist flow to pre-crisis levels in the region thanks to large blocks of events. Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about them at a round table in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. “The tourism sector in 2020 showed the largest decline. In 2020, the flow of tourists in Tatarstan amounted to 1.9 million people, which is 47% lower than a year earlier. The volume of the tourism sector last year amounted to about 19 billion rubles, which is 40% lower than a year earlier. We saw new niches and opportunities. We continued to work on priority areas for the development of the tourism sector, which are reflected in the strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030 and the strategy for the development of tourism until 2021 and for the planning period until 2030,” he said.

On March 16-20, ANO “Assembly of Tourist Volunteers of the Republic of Tatarstan” together with the State Committee for Tourism will conduct a specialized educational session for students studying at the universities of Tatarstan at the faculties of tourism, service and hotel business.

The best experts in the field of tourism and hospitality of the Republic of Tatarstan will deliver their lectures and conduct creative classes. The shift will help to grow professionally in the tourism industry and provide additional materials for research work.

Participation in the shift is free.

Students from 18 to 24 years old are invited to participate.

The journalists of the republican and federal media were introduced to the sanatoriums in which rehabilitation programs after coronavirus infection have been launched. The press tour took place on February 25-26.

The press tour of the sanatoriums of Tatarstan was conducted by the Association of sanatoriums of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the State Committee for Tourism.

The first was shown the sanatorium “Raduga”, where the journalists studied the sanatorium, examined the number of rooms, saw the medical base and asked dozens of questions about the conditions, prices and content of recreation and rehabilitation programs in the sanatorium.

Then the journalists visited “Zhemchuzhina” and “Kosmos” sanatoriums.

Artel and Charem restaurants were included in the TOP-50 of the best restaurants in Russia according to the National Restaurant Award WHERETOEAT RUSSIA 2021. They were in 46th and 47th places, respectively. In the Top 50, in addition to Kazan, there were restaurants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Rostov, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Sochi and Krasnoyarsk.

Note that the ReLab Bar was also included in the shortlist of the best bars in Russia.

The grand ceremony of the WHERETOEAT TATARSTAN 2020 award was held on October 28th at the Kazan Palace by Tasigo hotel and brought together the entire color of the republic's restaurant community.

The highest line of the republican rating, as in 2019, was taken by the “Bachelor's Shelter” by restaurateur Sergey Tulisov.

The second place is again at the “Pir” restaurant, the third ‒ at “Marusovka”.

In some nominations, a year later, the laureates have changed completely. The main panel of experts named Rustam Rakhimov, the chief of “Marusovka”, Chef of the Year.

Alexey Golev from “Enoteca S” became the Sommelier of the Year. “Chirem” was recognized as the best restaurant of Tatar cuisine this year, and the traditional Special Media Prize went to the bistro “Artel” (chef ‒ Bulat Ibragimov).

In the new nomination ‒ “Best Bar” ‒ the well-deserved trophy was awarded to the ReLab team, headed by Artur Galaychuk.

The most innovative project of the year (special nomination from the Technoflot company) was recognized the “Artel” restaurant.

Charter flights to Tatarstan are planned to be launched in the new summer season in 2021. This was announced by the head of “Rostourism” Zarina Doguzova at an online press conference at Interfax.

“For the summer season, we are working with the TUI tour operator on new charter directions to Tatarstan. This is a wonderful region with an excellent comfortable urban environment,” said the speaker.

A seminar on the development of industrial tourism in Tatarstan was held today in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

Participants of the event are travel companies and industrial enterprises of the republic interested in the development of industrial tourism. During the seminar, the methodology for the development of industrial tourism for Russian regions, developed by ASI, was presented, the best practices for the implementation of industrial tourism in Russia were shown, and recommendations were given for the development of this area.
